First of all, I want to say that I absoutely love teaching!
I was born in the great state of Tennessee, but I have lived in Georgia since 1973. I attended Mableton Elementary, Floyd Middle School, and South Cobb High School right here in Cobb County. My parents still live in Mableton.
I have been teaching at Clay Elementary for 24 years. I received a B.S degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University followed by a Masters and Specialist degree in Educational Leadership at the University of West Georgia.
I have a son and a daughter who are married and have blessed me with four grandchildren. I am married to the best man I know, and I have never been happier in my whole life. I spend a great deal of time with my wonderful family. I am pretty good at bowling and playing pool. I also love to read, play games, and ride our motorcycle!
