MATERIAL NOT NEEDED: CELL PHONE
Students are not permitted to have their cell phones out or headphones on during class. Any student who needs to text or call their parent/guardian/sibling will need to get permisson from Mr. Keane before doing so (ex: informing them of a club or practice cancellation). Students who ignore their first warning with the rule will be given a disciplinary referral that will be handled by administration.
Absences and Lateness
All students who are absent from class are responsible for any work missed in class. Students may communicate with Mr. Keane on any work/notes that need to be completed. If a student misses any assignments or written assessments, they are responsible to reschedule a time to take the assessment no later than a week after the test has been given.
Students are expected to report to the classroom before the bell rings. Any student who is late to class will have preparation/participation points deducted from their grade. If tardiness becomes a recurring issue, the student will go through proper discipline procedures (see Rules and Consequences).
Rules and Consequences
Participation. Preparation. Respect. These are the three main things that are expected to be displayed by all students in class. Any student who decides to become a disruption in class will not only lose participation/preparation points but will be given the following discipline system:
1st Offense: Verbal warning after class
2nd Offense: After School Detention
