Background...

My name is Joanna Cook, and I am a local artist from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. I am a recent graduate from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and obtain two bachelors degrees in both visual arts and education. I have a lot of experience working in the district having been a student teacher at the Miller School itself, completing a long-term substitute position as a traveling art teacher at Davenport Primary and Slaybaugh Primary schools, and participating in numerous years of substitute teaching in the district. In 2014, I was lucky enough to be offered a full time teaching position as the new art teacher in a school and overall district that I whole-heartedly love. I am elated to be teaching art every day. It is truly my passion!
