Uniform Grading Scale in Place for K-12 Students Statewide

The Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) approved a Uniform Grading Policy in accordance with Act 701 of the 2010 Legislative session that will take effect for the 2011-2012 school year.

The uniform grading scale will be used for all elementary and secondary schools K-12 in the state of Louisiana for regular classes where letter grades are assigned, according to Assistant Superintendent Karen Cunningham.
